NotToDoList ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that lets you list websites you want to avoid and shows a full-screen reminder overlay when you visit them. This policy explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with your information. The short version: it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Nothing is collected by us. We operate no servers, accounts, or analytics. The extension has no way to send your data to us or to any third party we control, because there is no such destination.
The extension saves the following only in your browser's local storage
(chrome.storage.local), on your device:
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension removes it.
The overlay displays GIFs and embedded YouTube videos loaded directly from public content providers (Tenor, Giphy, YouTube). When such content loads, your browser contacts those providers to fetch it, subject to their own privacy policies. The extension does not send them any personal information; it only requests the media. If you optionally enter your own Giphy API key, it is used solely to fetch GIFs and is stored locally on your device.
We do not sell or transfer your data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the extension's single function described above — because we never receive it in the first place.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
